Becoming a Tea Meister takes years of practice and an extraordinary sense of taste and smell—a Meister is as much an artist as a QC manufacturing expert. The honor of Green Tea Meister is granted only to individuals of proven connoisseurship.
    By sniffing out subtle nuances in aroma in crude teas of different harvests, the Tea Meisters ensure that every finished HISHIDAI product is delicately flavored and consistent.

    HISHIDAI’s R&D team has explored ways to it make it easier and more convenient for people to enjoy the full benefits of green tea. “Green Tea Power,” chatechin-enriched green tea extract, is the fruit of a collaborative research project with Dr. Itaro Oguni at Hamamatsu University. Another recent success has been “Shake ‘n Fresh,” a powder-based, non-pre-brewed, ready-to-drink bottled tea.
